Festivals are dance competitions, which are held at different times of the year at various venues around the South West. There are a huge variety of categories judged, as individuals are separated into disciplines and age groups.

Festivals give pupils the opportunity and experience to perform on a stage in front of an audience, enabling them to gain confidence and learn valuable performance skills – a thing difficult to teach in a classroom setting.

Festivals include novice classes for pupils with little or no experience together with the normal section for those having competed before and been placed at a previous festival.

Dances competitions are tailor made for each child and choreographed during private lessons with your child’s teacher. An entry fee is payable (between £3.00 & £5.00) plus a costume is required.
