Tamzynn trained as a full time student at Bojangles Dance College in Lichfield, gaining her ISTD major exams and teaching qualifications in ballet, tap, modern and national. She was awarded student of the year and the choreographic award twice during her studies.
She stayed on after graduation as a teacher until leaving to pursue a professional dancing career dancing in various productions on the continent. Returning to England Tamzynn taught at a full time college in Shropshire and then in Beijing, China at the first residential dancesport school in Asia.
She spent five years teaching at the ISTD regional centre for the South west, gaining much experience teaching all ages from 21⁄2 to adults. For the past five years she has run and expanded her own school, as well as managing the Bridgwater branch of the Deborah Bond Dance Academy.
Tamzynn has gone on to achieve her Licentiate teaching qualification in both ballet and tap and is at present working towards her Licentiate in Modern. She was also awarded The Mavdor scholarship by the ISTD in 2006 which is awarded to promising teachers who want to further their ballet teacher training.
She is a tutor at the ISTD South West centre teaching trainee ballet teachers and entering them for examinations. Tamzynn has a son, Luke, who was born in January 2009.
Tamzynn currently teaches all genres to the advanced students in Bridgwater.
