New Classes coming to Fox King in September

Exciting New Classes at Fox King

Musical Theatre – Wednesdays

I have been trying to fit Musical Theatre classes into the timetable for years and finally we have room! Miss Cowan is very excited to be teaching fun Musical Theatre classes on Wednesdays. The lessons will explore singing, acting and dancing techniques in the musical theatre genre and students will have many opportunities to perform through the year.

Junior class – 6-10 years 4.15-5pm, Senior class – 11-15 years 5-5.45pm. Places are limited, so book your child’s place now!

Ballet Conditioning – Progressive Ballet Technique syllabus

Following on from the successful launch last year, we are expanding the ballet technique conditioning classes.

Junior Ballet Conditioning (suitable for students in grades 1 and 2 ballet) – Saturdays 12.15-12.45pm

Fitness and Stretch Class

Does your child strive to do the splits? This class is designed for them!! Designed to strengthen and stretch the body in preparation for the demands of the ISTD syllabus.

Junior Fit and Stretch (suitable for Grade 3 – Inter Ballet) – Thursdays 6pm-6.45pm

Senior Fit and Stretch (suitable for Inter Ballet and above) – Fridays 6.15-7.15pm

Fitness and Stretch (suitable for Grade 3 and above) – Mondays 7.45-8.15pm in Bradninch

This class is free of charge. Spaces are limited.

Pirouette and Leap Surgery

Don’t worry we are not branching out into the medical profession! Fox King recently became a certified studio to offer the Rosina Andrews method classes. Rosina trained in the UK before furthering her dance education in Los Angeles. There she studied how American dance students are taught to turn and leap from a very young age. Her syllabus trains students to ‘pirouette’ and leap in a safe manner. The current dance industry requires students to be able to spin multiple times and perform leaps and tricks. Does your child copy ‘Dance Moms’ on the TV? This class is a must do!
